Christmas party for the staff held in York . Some new members of staff Jill, Jackie, Mel , Sue and Sharon were able to come and meet the rest of the team .
A compliment received via City of York Council from the family of one of our clients.
‘‘Wetherby Homecare seem to be doing a very good job with my mum’s care. They’re proactive and there’s excellent communication.
It’s reassuring knowing that if the carers have any concerns or suggestions they pass them on to Julie who will then contact my brother and/or myself or vice versa. For example: mum’s teatime visit was recently extended to 30 minutes as the carers felt that 15 minutes wasn’t long enough; the carer noted that mum’s toes were sore and nails needed cutting, so let us know so I could arrange for her chiropodist to visit; . When I’ve been there, it’s obvious that the carers engage my mum in conversation and encourage her to get out of her chair regularly
Wetherby Homecare carers seem to be very happy with the company they work for and this seems to result in a good quality of care for their clients. Steve and I know that the company/ carers are reliable and mum has a good quality of care .”
Thank you for the feedback!
